Ki Sik Lee has obtained a doctorate in Coaching Science, with a specialisation in high-performance archery coaching and athlete development.
The doctoral research is titled: “Meaning-Based Performance (MBP): The Coaching Architecture That Completes the System.”
The research introduces the Meaning-Based Performance (MBP) framework, which explains how sustainable elite performance is built from meaning, identity, trust, and decision-making—not just technical skill. It integrates biomechanics, psychology, coaching science, and decades of Olympic coaching experience into a comprehensive coaching architecture.
This work represents the culmination of over 45 years of coaching across Korea, Australia, and the United States, including coaching at ten consecutive Olympic Games.
